PIT BULL FRIENDLY RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS

Following is a list of rescue organizations and Pit
Bull-friendly shelters. If you have found a Pit Bull or AmStaff and need
assistance, you can contact the organizations in your region. Note that most of
them are probably full, but they may be able to direct you to other local
resources. Often, the dog's best chance is with you fostering him until a
suitable home can be found.
If you are looking to adopt a Pit Bull, please take the time to visit these
shelters and meet the dogs they have available for adoption.
Unless otherwise stated, the following shelters and rescue organizations are
open to all breeds and mixes of dogs. They give ALL dogs a chance for adoption,
without discriminating against Pit Bulls.
If you are considering turning a dog over to an organization, please research it
by asking for veterinary references and visiting the premises.
